Unhappy reverse light and dash light problem

hi guys, i have a w210 e320 cdi .
it has a problem with the reverse lights not coming on when you put it in reverse gear and also there are a couple of lights out on the dash and the central column.

when i took to garage they advised that it was a fuse box in the drivers side foot well. since went to parts department and they say the only fuse box is on the light switch (ma210 545 05 04) control module. can anyone help to show as can't find and would appreciate and photos showing how to remove and fit if this is problem .

many thanks in advance

Very strange-------on LH drive cars, when you lift the hood one of the fuse boxes is on the top of the LH wheel well---open the flap. Another one is on the inside LH end of the instrument cluster. The third one is under the rear seat.

On RH drive cars I assume they would be reversed.

That said if you had a bulb issue it would show up with bulb defective issue, but you do not have that, however I would check the bulbs anyway.

Another reason why the rear bulb does not light up when in R, the shifter selector switch could be defective and not able to send a message indicating that I am now in R.

do you have pictures , i do have bulb warning on dash, garage said that selecter was ok and that it was faulty fuse box under driver side , i am guessing its the one on the left hand of the dash cluster. can you show how to access?

First open the applicable door, then look at that end side of the dash and you should see a flush mounted lid------use a plastic wedge or non metalic whatever and pry off the lid.
