Oil leaking out of IAT Sensor
Hi,
On an 1999 e300 TD with 130k miles:
I've got oil leaking from the IAT sensor just off the Intercooler pipe. Should there even be oil in there and should I be worried? The fact that the sensor is covered in oil will that stop it working?
Rather amusingly having taken it out to look and then plug it back in when I got to work today I noticed it popped off again and there was oil everywhere as it had freely been blowing out.
Hmm hope nothing too bad will come to it as a result.
