Sudden loss of boost

Hi all!

I've had some rather boring experiences lately with my E220 CDI. When I'm driving up a hill of some sort, with stable throttle (no pedaltothemetal-action) it feels like it suddenly cuts of the boost. Feels as if the wastegate opens totally and let's all the exhaust just pass without building any boost...

It'll normally happen when I'm about to pass someone, it's nice like that

Anyone experienced something similiar?

Cheers,
Sondre

Maybe I should buy myself a turboboost-gauge and see if that is what really happens...?

I'd have it put on STAR and see if there are any relevant fault codes stored.
