Hard to tell, it all depends on condition of the car. How's tires ? interial condition, options on car, brake, alignment, suspension, paint, body, accident history, maintenance history ?

1997 E420, 1983 300D
that seems like a pretty good deal - i just bought a '97 420 with 97000 mi on it for 16,900. took it it to my mechanic and everything checked out besides the usual wear to suspension. had the tranny drained and cleaned up. i guess a compression check is a good idea too, but haven't had the chance - car runs like a top.
