Dnasty

Today I had my car parked for a while then went to start it up, it started up then the rpms immediately dropped and it shut off. It did this one more time before i took the key out put it back in started it and held the accelerator and it stayed on. What could this be? I have never seen a car do this, it's like it stalled when i tried to start it. It has not happened since but I'm worried this could become a greater issue when I am out later. I have no lights on in the car or anything.

Most folks would say your crank position sensor is failing, however without testing that's a guess along with a possible fuel rail pressure sensor failure.
