Hey Hollywood calm down!! The aux fans should repeat should only come on when the engine coolant and refrig temp exceed specs----It's when they come on you have a issue, stop beating them---go find an alligator to kick!!

PS: read your owners manual!!

lol....temp is running at 100-120 when idling in traffic.....at 80 when driving....wasnt doing this before. Fans just started making noises then when noise stopped fans no longer come on, even when AC is on....

80 while driving is great, 120 at idling seems high. When was the last time you changed coolant and did you use MB approved stuff??

MB has changed many times within the W210 the way the aux fan is controlled, therefore to correctly check I would need a VIN.

Like I said the AC refrig temp has to be very high for the aux fan to come on------if concerned do the AC actual value test to determine temp(see stickies) but do the test correctly!!

Easy fix! Has nothing to do with type of coolant used. PM sent.

It might be useful if you could post the answer on here...just in case others may find it useful in the future.
