CD Changer Install Questions.
So - picked up a 6 CD changer out of a fellow 99 E320 Wagon - since apparently, mine was removed prior to sale. Go figure.
I think I have figured out where the thing goes - but I am confused on how it connects to the Head unit. There's several loose, disconnected plugs down in the well - but only one of which appears to match. I'm uncertain if this is enough.
I'm attaching photos I took today, in hopes someone can give me a little guidance on how it goes in. Also - if you peer down into the well, there is a drain/vent that opens to the bottom of the car....is that normal? I'd assume that any chance of roadspray coming up would sort of be bad for the electronics....

3 and 5 are for phone. 4 is fiber changer. you still need a small, 2 or 3 connector
trapazoid connector for power. check my cheat sheet which should have picture
of the two plugs into the fiber changer
