i've noticed that when on the highway and shifting down to 3rd and flooring it, there is usually a second or two delay before I feel the car jump. Makes for some ackward passing situations. I've heard others gripe about the gas pedal and "non sportyness" to these sedans - is there a computer chip upgrade since it is an electric transmission? I'd like a little more kick.

by the way - we're talking about a '97 E420 here
