Hey all,
Just finished restoring my headlights on my 1998 E430 Sport, i was impressed by the kit, so I decided to share my results with yall.
Took about 2 hours to complete, and a lot of elbow grease.

A very nice job, however you would be amazed at what a good tooth paste with whitener does----at first I thought the idea was a lark, but to my amazement it works well and much less expensive!!

it has 3 different pads, I am going to put together a how to video slide show and will post it, for the mean time, this picture should answer your questions. I received this kit as a gift, and I know the previous owner had tried one of the Mothers Powerball (Power drill method) buffer things for Headlight restoration, showed him the pic of my before and after and he was amazed. He had even had the dealership try to restore them, none looked as good as my handiwork did with this kit.

That's exactly what I said when someone on the forum suggested tooth paste, however, I invited my ex wife over and tried tooth paste on her car---------she was all smiles as she drove away------then I tried the toothpaste on my MB----- amazing results for two bucks in material cost!!

So your sanding the headlight with toothpaste? What are you putting on the headlight after your sand off the OEM protective coating for the headlights?
