p.s. no, i guess it isn't. the device you've linked is a lightweight version of the laptop the thread is referencing, though the software appears to be similarly named

Out Of Control!!
I have used the Carsoft diagnostic product. Great entry level diagnostic tool!!
The musts are that you have to have laptop with a serial port and XPro installed. I know the finger in the wind crowd say you can use a serial or PCMCIA port----that's HS if you want a trouble free install.
I will sell you my new Mux, software and cables for thirty bucks plus shipping. I went to DAS Xentry long time ago!!

Please do not get me wrong, however don't buy anything until you really have a good understanding of what you are buying-----to learn about what multiplexers(mux) do and what the MB diagnostic tool DAS Xentry does-----do a goggle search---you will find years of learning----then you will learn why is the sky blue or why is the earth round!!
