Secondary Air Injection?
Need a little guidance here, my car has a CEL light code P0411.
I noticed the fuse for the air pump was blown so I replaced it and the problem persisted, if the car is warmed up it will not blow a fuse. I know this system is used at start up, I believe there might be a short but I am no expert. The fuse will blow almost immediately from a cold start. Am I harming anything by driving with this problem, I am aware it warms up the cats..?
Any ideas on where I can start troubleshooting?
Thanks!

Out Of Control!!
Well you are generally correct, the secondary air injection systems motor fuse does not blow when the engine is hot, because it does not function when the engine is hot. It only functions when cold for a time to heat up the cats and therefore help meet the emissions requirement. If you live in a state which does testing you will fail!!
Yes the motor is started with a relay and protected with a maxi fuse, therefore as the fuse blows, either your relay(on the K40 board) or motor is the fault and that is where I would start!!

Thanks guys, new pump and relay on the way.
I also have a P0400 EGR code, my mechanic thinks its all related and told me both codes should be resolved after these get installed, I hope!
