1997 e420 steering lock and key
All of a sudden, my key will not turn and release ignition, steering lock and gearshift. What is best approach. Car has 112,000 and key looks worn and a little bent.

Try another key. If you are in the US your dealer can order a new flat key for $25 to $35 which might work, assuming there is nothing wrong with your cylinder. If that fails, a cylinder matching your existing keys can be ordered and installed. However, if the cylinder can not be turned, the installation is supposed to be difficult.
