blower motor?

I'm posting this for a good friend of mine. She drives a '96 E320 and the blower motor stopped working. Apparently there is warm/cold air coming, its just not blowing. After reading up on a few other posts it seems like the blower motor regulator might be the culprit. However, she mentioned something about a 40amp #20 fuse 'orange' which she doesn't seem to be able to find. Could that fuse be the culprit as well? Where is that fuse located? Winter is coming and she'll be freezing if I can't figure this out for her . . . Thanks for ANY help I might get

There are loads of misunderstanding regarding what is required. The best approach is to warm her up and ask her for the VIN!!

warm and cold air is blowing at the same time? In that case its most likely the solenoid. Search a DIY cleaning AC/heat solenoid for 96 e320.

If the blower isn't blowing at all, then the fuse can be found on the blower itself Right under the glovebox above the passenger footwell it can be easily accessed. There are DIYs everywhere for it. DIY search blower motor replacement/blower motor solenoid replacement.
