I have an Mb e320 1997 I changed the battery now the asr is on and the swich will not shut it down. the car starts fine but will only idle gas pedel goes to floor no power how can this be fixed . The dealership says they have to reset the ( codes ) $120.00 usd. there should be a way to disable the asr possibly by pulling the fuse. I dont want to have to have it towed to the dealer, maybe there is some kind of reset to correct this. also a fuse layout for the rear seat specificaly the asr fuse would be helpful thanks in advance. Love the car but would Love to drive it.
