Actually, good question - dunno..... never knew but seems those are the speeds at which the gear changes under normal acceleration (probably a stupid guess tho'...). If anyone could figure it out, I'd really appreciate it...

The look like they're on or about certain speed limits 35-ish street, 55-60 highway. They probably put them a little low as speed limits differ and those lower speed limits won't inadvertantly go too fast. I have no idea if that's what they're for, but that's my guess.

And, no you don't have to have your COMAND screen read MBenzNL - all you have to do is get it from the dealer. ;0)

Yeah, JoshK may be right. We don't have a speedlimit of 35km/h for the streets but I remember Sydney, Oz does'. Our city speed limit is 55km/h which is right in the middle of the second orange patch. Not sure how the color patches are going to ensure one sticks to the limit.........who sticks to the limit anyway???????? :p

Mmmmmm, I hope Steve's new projectors aren't going to give us "MBenzNL" on the road............

Despite the great deals and satisfaction, I think you guys should be charging the Europimp advertising fees...
