Intercooler o-ring part number
Hey guys.
The intercooler pipe blew off the other day and unfortunately the o-ring has vanished.
Does anyone have the part number for a new o-ring and spring clip, as that is probably knackered if the pipe blew off in the first place?
The car is a 2000 W210 E320cdi.
Many thanks in advance.

I think you are providing a wrong story, as the charge air intake pipe is bolted to the manifold and doubt very seriously it blew apart-----never the less the oring is 606 997 06 45--the right side(intake side) spring clip is 007 993 38 01

Hmmm... it's probably down to a lack of mechanical knowledge or bad story telling! ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
The intercooler has a plastic pipe coming out of its right side (right side when sitting in the car) which connects to a rubber pipe. That join is where the pipe has separated and that's the clip and o-ring I need.
Thanks again.

Your not kidding-------Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm---on the right side(inlet to cooler) there is the charge air hose and clamp 007 993 30 01---there is no oring until you get up to the turbocharger inlet 012 997 22 45
Based upon this little exercise, I would strongly suggest that before you purchase anything visit a dealer and look at the EPC pictures to confirm the parts required

Thanks for the diagram. This is really odd. When the pipe first blew apart there was a rubber o-ring or perhaps it is a seal that should have been fixed to something.
Without it the pipe now audibly sucks in air at that point, coupled with smoke from the rear and worsening fuel economy.

Those are searches you can do yourself by subscribing to he FREE repeat FREE MB EPC(see stickies)
Include you VIN in your search, as a large amount of MB parts are VIN specific
