Spacers for wheel offset
2002 430 sport. Just bought monoblock replicas that are 18x8 with 35mm offset. Running 245/40/18 tires. Front shock and tower right against tire. Curious if anyone has best spacer to use

your eyes should tell you how much you need to get the tire safely away from
the suspension. at the same time, you need to extrapolate how much that
would move the tire towards the fender arch. if your spacer is too thick you'll
risk shredding the tire by the fender.
going with spacer will also require that you purchase longer lug bolts

So i ordered 15 mm spacers for front and rear. The hubcentric 66.56 is not larger enough to clear the front hub section?? Ive noticed some spacers for sale say rear only but these did not but are too small. Does anyone know the exact opening needed to clear but tightly fit?

I would not go more than 3-5mm to start. Running the size you list is about as much as you can stuff in the front and not have clearance issues on either side. Using replicas can be a challenge in that rim material thickness varies greatly from stock OEM fitments. Start small and go up if you need to. More than 5mm though and I would be in search of different rims. The tire size is acceptable for the front though. Good luck.

So I have 19x8.5 squared ET37. I want them to sit flush and was either going with a 215/40/19 or 225/35/19. I wouldn't be able to use 15mm spacers in the front? Would 20mm work in the rear?

you need the spacers that are capped for the fronts, i had that same problem but only needed a 10mm i got the h&r 20556659. it went right over the front hub without any problem. heres a link so you can see what they look like.https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-ti...cers-lugs.html
its the ones that are capped.
