I Cant Communicate with TCM
I have a 2002 e320 4 matic. believe it is stuck in limp home mode. so i tried hooking my scanner up to it but i am not able to communicate with the TCM. i can communicate with other ECU's been looking around at threads and check my 13 pin connector which was full of fluid so i replaced it, checked the TCM which had some fluid on the contacts but barley any inside. i cleaned it all up, tried connecting again but could not.
was wondering if anyone else ran into this problem and knows of a solution

like i have said, My scanner is fully capable of getting into the transmission. i am allowed into every other ECU BUT the TCM. when i am in the engine section it displays code p2037 - stating that it cannot communcaite with n15/3 (TCM) the issue obviously lies within the TCM or wiring fuse etcc.

In my case there are no problems or symptoms with my transmission and my DAS/Xentry cant communicate with the transmission control unit. It doent show codes. I've tried some solution to no avail. Das warning states that there is no communication with unit. sftware issues
