what do these codes mean?

ENGINE MANAGEMENT
P2037 - no or incorrect CAN message from control unit N15/3 (ETC [EGS])
ELECTRONIC GEAR SELECTOR
P1817 - Voltage Value pushbutton or something
I am unable to get into the transmission
was wondering if these codes could shed some light.
Also no display of what gear i am in on the instrument panel. not even a change in pixels when i switch gears.
when i try to connect to the transmission it blinks twice displaying the gear i am in, weird.
I have replaced the 13 pin pilot bushing as it was leaking. also cleaned off the connector.
a little fluid got onto the TCM contacts. there was no fluid actually on the board itself but i sprayed it with MAF anyway. but none of this has helped me communicate with the TCM. i do have a scanner that is capable of getting into it.
