I got OEM HID right now on my '99.

Anyway to retrofit my current headlight into the new one ?

 

Do they plan on doing this for the W208 CLK's!? I would love a pair, you guys with the W210's, get this mod ASAP, it looks freakin awesome!

The lights are halogen...and look like the ones shown on earlier pictures and are sold by in pro.

Thanks Steve, the next question is how much do they cost, including freight? Also, I have xenons right now so would the new headlights be plug and play, or would I have to rewire?

i think hid's you can do it ,but if you got xenons you can't...this was posted before the system crash... not sure though.

 

I think that there's a misconception between HID and Xenon. It's the same, just different appelations.

I think what you mean Alex is that there's a difference between STOCK HID and aftermarket HID kit.

Alex had me confused for a minute - HID stands for "High Intensity Discharge (or something)" a generic name for xenons, I think.

 

yea, what doc said it right, i just didn't have the energy to type it all out.........

 

I've written to the company numerous times regarding 208 applications (even in the future) and have yet to receive word :0( I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Or we can all start emailing them from a ton of different addresses so they think there's enough demand...

 

Its probably no consulation, but I've seen ones for W203, so I don't see why they wouldn't make them for the W208's....whilst Steve's searching Europe, let me do a bit of research in Asia..........now I'll also look out for W203 ones Josh.
