'99 W210 wagon TLC
Hi everyone,
Don't think I've posted much before but I have lurked around plenty. It has come to a point where my kid mover needs some serious TLC. Needless to say what led to this, but once I saw the shop's quote on the "must have" repairs I said Hell no! and started buying stuff to repair it myself.
Upcoming stuff, urgently needed
Motor mounts
Tranny mount
Flex disc
Whenever I'll have time I plan on changing rotors, brake pads, spark plugs and just to make sure she still looks good I'll prep and give her a nice paintjob. I always wanted to learn how to paint and I'll be hard pressed to find a valid reason to pay the shop 5k for a paintjob.
I do need your help in finding an instructional video in regards to the motor mount swap. Couldn't locate any and I've never done it before. I am no expert, have actually never done it before, but I went out and bought 4 2 ton jacks, a 2 ton Engine Hoist, axle stands and definitely the winning attitude.
I'll be doing this alone of course, hence why need to prep and make sure I know what I'm getting my hands into. I figured it's not rocket science, so let me have it, videos or pics?

Save yourself the aggravation------You can get off your butt and do a forum/google search for the appropriate lengthly list of topics---then once you have first helped yourself who knows what will happen!!
I know this is a help forum----help is also finding the search button!!

It's so refreshing to see humour hasn't died, but I think I should have been a little more explicit: has anyone made any videos pictures of an E320 (sedan or wagon, I presume it doesn't matter) because I've been looking and haven't found any.
I wouldn't have bothered posting this if I had the time to do an even more in depth search than I have already done; between two jobs, wife and kids, buying parts and running around I figured a forum know it all might just point me in the right direction.
My bad.

Engine mounts aren't too bad to do. Plus you have the V6 so shouldn't be too bad...just watch out for hot headers. Let the car cool beforehand.
