I got the intermittent warnings for the highbeam then it finally went out so I assumed it was a bad bulb like I had on the drivers side. I put a new bulb in and i get no light. Does anyone know what could be the cause the driver highbeam still works so it can't be a fuse issue can it? Another thing i noticed is that the passenger bulbs sit differently than the drivers when I change the drivers i just pull it out and put it back in the passenger bulbs have these metal clamps holding each one in do they need to be in a certain way for the light to power?I have a 98 e320 btw

Look to the side that works and insert the bulbs in the same manner!!

check your fuses. I think that there is a separate fuse for each side.
