automatic transmission plate
Hi there. I drives a w210 , e200, year 1998, 2.0engine petrol.. Lately i am having some issues with my gearbox.my mechanic told me its the autoamtic transmission plate.. The problem i am facing is i dont know the part number to purchase the parts.my mechanic doea not want to remove the old part for me to check.can someome help me out in this..thanks you in advance

Hi mr fabio..thanks for helping.. My car vin number would be WDB2100356A522693 .. I would like to know the automatic transmission plate part number and also the gearbox ecu if possible.. Thanks in advance mate

It might be cheaper to swap the box. My gearbox died on the E320CDI and I was told the same as you and quoted £1500 to repair. I got a second hand box for £350 and a friend charged me £80 to use his workshop and helped me change it.

Hi there,thanks for the recomendation.. I had already change my whole gearbox ..i am from malaysia and the cost of changing one gearbox is about 2000gbp.. I cant afford to rechange it and since several mechanic confirm that the plate is spoil i would rather just change the plate for about 100gbp..
