Door's won't close

Hi guys,

I have E300 TD, and recently my car wont close or open the doors, either with the keyfob or with the console switch.

This is strange because the turning light works when i press the button on the keyfob (to open or to close). The car works normaly with no other trouble.

What can it be the problem?

PSE unit is the most common, under rear right seat, is a vacum pump, check all the fuses first, if thei'r fine check if you dont got water inside the pse unit

i don't see any signs of water now, but i found rust. Maybe it's a sign that was water before. I had checked the fuses and i think it's all ok.

The strange part is that besides the facts that i presented before, the car works just fine.

if i change the vaccum unit, do the car need some programing??

Yup, you have a bad PSE unit, control the back headrest too

If you have rust, check the inside electronics of the PSE unit, open it and check it

Also, before install a new/used PSE, close the car with you inside (remove the rear seat) and other person spray the car wit lot of water to see if you got any leak inside

Yes, they need to be programmed with your car specifications
