Hi all, Please I need help in this issue and I'm just a starter.
recently my 99 E280 stop starting so I used carsoft 7.4 to scan it and here what I got.
1570 CAN between IFZ and ME control unit
A: Attempt to start carried out with locked IFZ
B: CAN from IFZ to ME Control unit disturbed
C: ME Control unit and IFZ Control unit do not match
with disregarding the last reason.
what's physically happened. Imean how can I fix it.

Now you can tell us the complete and real story, but sounds like the car was or is stolen---the 1570 is telling you that either the ECU, DAS or EIS(IFZ) control module is faulty or someone pulled a fast one on you and changed one of those modules without adapting the module to the car.That is why the car will not or ever start(anti theft protection)--did you get the car in Benghazi

why you are aggressive this way, the car is mine and Ihave been driven it for long period and it is worthless in Libya by the way, it is just I like it , and aqtually I don't know what happened, I have to leave the country in urgently and my wife drive it, when it stopped she took it to a mechanic who never saw BM I believe and when I pull it from the shop it was like this .

I believe you have something wrong with a DAS system or something that avoiding communicating with ECU,

check the battery connection, or ECU connector unplugged,,

did you have a look to them..!

yes I checked everything and somebody told me about changing the keys battery, I changed them but nothing happened.

I can appreciate that you have to leave the country----but the fact remains that you have an issue with the "drive authorization system"--this is a security system that prevents the car from being stolen if someone changes the key, EIS,ECU, DAS control unit. Or if one of those control units fails!!

You need someone with DAS xentry to diagnose the car and determine which of those parts has failed----Carsoft will not do that. Carsoft will never do that!!

I think "Plutoe" is correct about DAS problem, have to check that via STAR/SDS only,,

or try to disconnect the battery for 1 or 2 hours then connects again, and see what well gonna happen..!
