Malfuntion Light
Wondering if anyone can give me some insight on my problem. I have a 2001 E430, and the dash display shows me that I have a light bulb malfunction. I have check all of the bulbs, however, none are out. Any leads? Thanks.

When does the light come on?
When getting in yuor car do this:
Start your car up and wait. If the light does not come push your brake. Then put your car in reverse. Then back to Park. Then turn your lights on (without fogs). Then turn your fogs on.
At this point you should be able to find the problem....If still nothing check the turn signals.
If you checked your car and found nothing I would bet its the brake lights or reverse lights.

Please Inspect ALL lights
Also Inspect the Rear tail light Bulb Holders..They are made out of Plastic and Melt That can be a source of a Bulb check light
I have seen several do this
