Considering E420 Opinions please
I'm thinking about upgrading to a E420 or E430 in the next 18 months. I'd like to know if there are any known problems with this model? I'd be considering a 1997-2000 model. I think I remember reading the 1997 had some problems. Is this correct? Thanks for your thoughts and your time.

The E420`s and E430`s are good cars says my uncle. I don`t know about any major problems though except for the MAF sensor which isn`t too much of a problem. See how the engine is running.

I would go with the 2000 model year as it has the updated body and Interior with multifunction steering wheel/cluster
The w210 items are
motor mounts
cat converters
dash boards
seat frames
front lower control arm bushings
a/c temp sensors
gas tank sending units
A good prepurchase inspection will help you
run the vin at the dealer for history
