The right wing mirrors casing has a nasty habit of coming off unprovoked and is starting to get on my nerves. It hasnt got any cracks or anything from what I can see and it goes back perfectly into place when I push it back on, feel like it needs to click into place to lock it in and its not doing so. And help on what I should look for in terms of faults/how to fix it would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much

Have you checked to make sure that the casing small retaining wire is actuall there???

Take the covering off---put your nose about three inches away from the assembly--let your eyes focus a bit and look for the metal wire
