hi everyone from usa! i have a few issues that have stummped me, first off ive never owned a benz untill now, i drive a 2000 es320 wagon it isnt a 4matic nor is it an awd, first question is, i removed the tailights on the hatch one side has 2 bulbs and the other side has 1? why is this? 2nd question is the reverse lights do not work and the bulbs are fine, 3rd it will not come out of gear without using a screwdriver beside the shifter....i have already tryed switching the brake light switch still nothing any help would be appreciated! also car steams really bad some cold mornings (not smoke) but a whole bunch of steam , thats so bad it smokes out the cars behind me at a light! oil is clean no sign out head gasket issues there, but under the oil fill cap there is a whole lot of milky white substance....i thought at first head gasket but it only dont it upon extremly cold start ups! i have pictures if needed thanks so much for reading! my thoughts
tail light bulbs - fog light bulb should only exist in left side. empty socket on
right side for USA cars
reverse lights - possibly switch or linkage in transmission shifter assembly
steams - too many short drives allowing condensation to build up. head
gasket leak (have someone perform leakdown test!)
milky white pudding - too many short trips
shifting - i think this is called limp mode. have someone check for transmission
error codes using MB diagnostic equipment
