E430 Sport
Xeone Replacement
Happy New Year to all!
I own a 99 E430 Sport and have the xeone headlights, one of my lights is a bluish color and the other is more white. I guess the dude who owned it before me changed a bulb at one time. Anyhow .... I want them to look the same....
My buddy has a 2001 E55 and has the blue lights and much brighter than mine. Can I change them to the 2001 E55 bulbs and have the same effect as him? or is it in the ballast or whatever?
thanks in advance, Ken

When you change a bulb from a HID it does not become blue right away. I forgot the tech term on how long it takes, but I do know it takes aprox 500 miles with the lights on before it comes its nature blue.
Happen to me.

Both bulbs need to have the exact same amount of hours used. They will never become the same color. If it bothers you that much, replace both bulbs at the same time with new bulbs and it will solve you color issue.
