1999 W210 E280 ABS/BAS LIGHTS ON
Hello guys,im new here in your forum,i need help about my car.brake light is not working,i change brake switch but no luck.and i check fuse 9 for the brake lamp i found the 12volt is not present.i want to ask where it coming from,from relay/?or frome the ABS computer,i want to ask a diagram so that i can locate the problem,and to know the wiring collor.but sometimes the brake light is working without the brake lamp fuse.at this time ABS/BAS light is gone.but the next morning ,light is on again.thanks..for help...

Hi plutoe,before i change a brake switch i send it first to other mb work shop that have mb scanner.i saw there is only one trouble code,that is a brake switch.but now even my signal light ,horn ,and wiper is not working.the other guy told me maybe the control unit,but now i dont know where is the control unit of that.i know a litle about merceds bcause im working here in a small work shop,but have no scanner.so tomorow if i cant fix it i send it again to the other shop.thanks.....
i want to buy scanner,but my master card is not yet released.How about STAR C3 it is a good scanner?

Yes! the problem solved,about signal light/horn not working.you mention about SAM MODULE.the eletrician did it,He told me that the wiring for the SAM is not conected properly,so thats the problem for the signal/wiper/horn not working.about the brake light its working now properly,but idont know if the ABS/BAS is coming on again next day,but i observe,i found the brake light bulb is not connected properly also,because sometimes the rightside is not working.if one week ABS/BAS isnt coming on again,so thats the problem.but i think its imposible that ABS/BAS on because of that.thanks for the info about SAM..
