2000 e320- rear door repair/ replacement

2000 e320- rear door repair/ replacement
so we bought the car new from the benz dealership in 2000. at the time it was for my grandmother. now its ours but unfortunately she did a number on the car. mechanically sound. electrical is a rat's nest. so many electrical problems.
anyways, we paid this guy 800$ to fix the rear door because it had a huge dent.
unfortunately he sprayed it the wrong color and it looks like ****. is it a possible to find a replacement door for less than 1500$.
also their is a weird rattling noise that is coming from somewhere behind the transmission. it sounds like the noise when shaking up a spray can. any ideas?

Sounds like you need to take the car back to the shop that did the body repair and paint work and have them make it right. Most businesses care about their reputation and will redo the work. If that fails, try LKQ liquidators for a replacement door. You may even be able to find one in the same color.

The rattle sounds like a rear catalytic converter. Stop by an exhaust shop to have it checked out. You will be able to hear it rattle when they tap on it with a rubber mallet.

we have replaced the catalytic converter twice now. rattle hasn't gone away. usually can only hear it after driving on the highway for a decent distance and then come to a stop at a light.
