I have an E240 Elegance W210, that I am very happy with.
The only thing lacking is an adjustable steering column. I believe this is fitted to W211 models. Can one of these units be fitted to my W210. Not as a DIY, but by a competent mechanic?

Thanks Plutoe, I didn't think it would be a cheap job, but would source a second hand unit, which would probably be less than the labour charge.
My car has only 105K, been serviced by the book and I would be reluctant to trade for another.

 

Thanks again for the advice. I shall have in depth discussion with the guy I want to do the work, before putting my toe in the water.
