Smart Key
but yes, the conveniencefeature which opens and closes windows/roof. are you aiming the key near the
IR port on the pax door handle?
i.e. one touch fully close or open without holding the button down? for the roof
can you hold the button and it will continuously operate the roof open/close
without stopping every few inches of travel?

which battery(ies) have been verified full strength?
exactly which features have been verified functional...and which are not?
- be sure car battery is fully charged and/or healthy
- be sure charger is disconnected from vehicle
- place smartkey into ignition. it should cause click and unlock steering column
- leave in ignition for 15 mins (probably well long enough)
- try convenience opening/closing again

that said, there are different actions which may skew this, e.g. installing wrong
size batteries, installing them out of polarity, etc. this electronics thing can all
come down to the devil in the details. but for simply quick battery changes, no.
resync isn't needed
It looks the same with mine.
