S210 Wagon front lamp replacement, no space in front of the hydraulic fluid tank

Hi All fellow S210 wagon owners.
I bought a right hand drive 2001 face lift E 200k wagon in 2010, had to get out of the Uber-barge with the recession and all!! Back in 2001 I had the sedan version and always like the car, so I deliberately went for same again except for the fact its an estate. Anyway 5 years later & 80000 miles racked up and the recession over, I have come attached to my old S210, she has given me little trouble.
I do most of the maintenance myself (thanks benz.org & u tube) however I have hit an issue that is so simple to fix, but cannot find a solution without having to bring the car to a "MB DEALER".
The bulb has gone on the right front (passenger side) lamp, its located in front of the rear hydraulic fluid tank. I removed the rear wiper fluid tank and tried to slide my hand in sideways to get at the back of the light, but the hydraulic tanks has no room for moving it out of the way slightly. There is a rigid pipe at the bottom of it & I am reluctant to force the issue. From reading the forums, this would appear to be a MB design afterthought for the S210, there was no where else they could put the hydraulic tank in the engine bay.
Does anybody have experience of this problem, in terms of changing the bulb, for something so simple to change its proving a real pain.
thanks
Brian

Are you referring to the side marker lamp? If so, it is accessed from inside the wheel well. There is a small cavity just behind the lamp location. Use a finger to push the lamp housing outward to access the bulb.

He is referring to a headlamp...not marker lamp, which is unlikely to be found on a E outside North America.

Everyone is missing the OP's point. In the estate (wagon) the steering and rear suspension fluid bottle gets in the way since it sits to the right of the washer bottle...so the video above, whilst informative, does not answer his specific question.

OP...smaller hands are required, or move he bottle.
