Will 19x9 fit on a 99 E55?

I have a chance to get a set of 19x9 HRE rims for a great price, I need to know if they will fit. they are 19x9 all around and the 0ffset is 35, also what size tires should I run? Will 255-35 be to wide for the fronts?

But beware, not with an ET35 offset!

That is correct, James has 19X9's in the front and 19X10's in the rear but compared to my '97 E420, his front fenders have almost no lip on the inside. I think that's how all of the E55's come but I'm not sure. I had to roll my front fenders and cut and fold the front inside of the fender where it meets the bumper. My 19X8.5's on 245/35's were rubbing there.

But why all the fuss Jimmy, you're only running 8.5's and they already stick in like they could use more spacing????????

BTW, I seem to remember Kev mentioning that E55's come already rolled at the factory.

There is a bolt for the suspension in the inner side of the front wheels that is on the way, that's why you can't use any deeper wheels with out having to roll the fenders.

All the fuss? When I put my new tires on I could'nt even go over the slightest bump without eating up the outer edge of my tire. The front actually sit nice now it's the rear that needed to come out a lot more. The camber arms took care of a lot of that. It looks much better now, at least for my liking.

The E55's are not really rolled at the factory. The inner lip/edge is cut a lot smaller than how it was on mine. Where I cut mine in the front of the fender, James' E55 had hardly any lip there.

I'm using the same width wheels, 8.5" (but with a smaller diameter), with a slightly wider offset (ET33) but I don't seem to have any problems with rubbing or scrapping without the trimming done...sitting at about the same height (Jimmy?)....weird, hardness of springs maybe? dunno....
