e420 engine swap to 55 amg
Hi, new here. I own e420 and just loving it. Best car ever and i'll keep it to my children 
will never sell that 
So my friend(sells used cars and parts) came yesterday and said that he has 55 engine from ml55amg 2004 with all wirings, ecu. So question is will it fit in w210 ? i know that oil tank and exhaust manifolds wont fit, ill find another ones. But what about ecu? Cooling system? Any1 know difference between 113980(w210 e55 engine wich would fit no problem i think) and 113981(i think thats ml's55)

It will fit perfect with all the wires, ecu (including egs and tranny) the e55 comes with the M113 from factory like the ML55 engine, difference between M113.980 and 981 is the oil pan, you need the pan from a E55 to fit in your W210 (in the ML the oil pan is different cause the front shaft and subframe)
Is possible, but envolve some work, you need the E55 exhaust system too and the ESP actuator with ESP control unit/wires, cause the E420 is ASR and the w210 with M113 works with ESP.
Is true possible, but you need very very lots of parts. my best bet is buy a wrecked/damaged E55 to be a donor and use all the parts from the E55 to "basically" transform your E420 in to an E55
