I was thinking about getting some but then I just have standand lights on my 96 W210 and I heard you have to have a special kit to get the xenons to work.

I've read somewhere that those are a hoax.

They are still a halogen Xenon lookalike bulb.

I installed the Sylvania Silverstars on another car of mine (non-MB).

They are a definite improvement over the usual yellow halogen.

But they won't really have an HID-look, if that's what you are after.
