Gas Leak on Rear Driver side 2000 E320 Automatic Sedan

I have been going back n forth with my car not starting, replaced the starter, car will not crank. investigating k40 module & starter relay now. Its been chilly in atlanta 17 degrees this morning, I come out look at the car and go to work (no leaks). When I return today there are two mini puddles in front of the left rear tire. This is new, has this happened to anyone else?

smh

Yeah it happened to me. I had to take the wheel off; and get some real thick black, high pressure hose, or replacement gas line; that will fit over the original line.Use a small pipe cutter, space is tight and irritating as hell, cut on both sides of leak area. Remove enough of the old line to allow space to force new house down the line.Put screw clamps (I used 2 on both sides) and locked it with clamps on both sides.
Tips. you do not want to cut the replacement tube or line. You want to force the whole thing as far down the line on both sides to relieve the pressure from the fuel pump.
make sure you put the clamps on the house before forcing it onto the line.
Cutting was the worst part. I had to go back twice. hopefully This saves you some time. Got everything from prep boys
