Rigging the hood ornament??
Well, it's happened again... some $&@!?&$ little @&$/! Broke of my hood ornament. I've been searching the Internet and haven't found anything as far as rigging the alarm to go off or how to honk when it's moved.

Anybody tried doing this? Or would know how to go about doing it? I've seen it done on Cadillacs so surely there's got to be a way to do it on a Benz without buying a whole new aftermarket alarm system..

Replace with a flat emblem? I think it knocks years off the appearance of these cars, but that's a personal thing.

Or you could trade your MB in on a RR Phantom which can lower the hood ornament under the hood for theft protection.
