96 E 320 FRONT CRANK CASE SEAL REPLACEMENT
I just bought a 96 E 320 with 159 k it needs front crank case seal
I am going to be doing the job myself
Anything special I need to know will it be much different from any other crank case seal replacement ?
Does any one also know what size the socket is on the pully ?
Will I need any special tools , special socket to get the seal in is it really needed ? thanks

The bolt is 27mm. The torque for the bolt is either 400Nm/295 Ft. Lbs. (if the vibration damper has four dished washers) or 370Nm/273 Ft. Lbs. (if a conical washer is installed instead of dished washers).

Thank you Vince the guy had backed out of the deal at the last second but im sure this information will come in handy in the future
