Just curious to know if any of the w210's have self leveling here in the US or is it just in europe?

The only W210 that has Self level is the W210 Wagon/estate
with Rear self level Only...

Hello All,

I have a 97 E420 Sport and sometimes when I am pulling out of the garage I hear a compressor like sound from the back of the car. It is because of this sound I believe that our W210 might have a self leveling system but I am not 100% sure. I also have a cadillac and it also makes the same sound. This Cadillac

Are you sure the sound isin't your passenger side mirror adjusting its angle for reverse when you are backing out of the garage?

i think 98 was the first year that started.

No, it sounds like a compressor building air in the rear suspension. Its very similar to the sound that comes out of my Cadillac.

dunno what that noise is coming from, because the only W210 with rear self leveling suspension is the E320 wagon i have a 99 430 sport and don't have a sound like that?
