Update on Traffic ticket....
Back in January I drove through a gas station, but decided not to buy gas after seeing a Las Vegas police cruiser filling his tank on the same side I wanted to use. He pulls me over a couple blocks up the street and gives me a ticket (in my 1986 Nissan Maxima). I paid an attorney with a law office that specializes in Traffic tickets, $75 to represent me. Thank you to the members that gave me guidance back then.
It was finally taken care of - no points on my record, no traffic school, but I still must pay the city $150.00. Drats!
Very pleased with the this attorney, needless to say.

That's the way the racket works. Everybody leaves happy - the city got their $150, you got no points, your lawyer got $75. That's mighty cheap for a lawyer though. Even out here in rural VA you can't get a lawyer for a traffic ticket for under $100.

Rich, Actually one law office, most likely one with a higher overhead, etc., wanted alot more. The office I chose, worked out of a simple place, near downtown, that probably works on volume, and probably gets referrals from satisfied clients, such as myself.
