You have a buzzing "fan sound" coming out of your domelight ? I've never heard of this. Could there be something wrong with the bulb that it's buzzing? Do you have a stock bulb or a custom colored one?

You'd better be careful its not a current leakage....it may short circuit the entire system.....good luck!

Its a stupid little fan in one of those small slits up there. I used to get it also but havent in long time. I just kept a small toothpick in my ashtrey and when it came on i put the toothpick up there to stop it. Normally all you have to do is stop the fan and it will stop the noise. I had been getting it a lot this summer but not in a long time. Sorry i couldnt give you better help, just my way of ghetto rigging it.

I realize that.....the tooth pick is still in the ashtrey

Maja, let us know if you ever find out what the fans purpose is and/or what is causing the noise.

The purpose of this fan is to draw cabin air to the temperature sensor controlling the A/C and heating. In the past is was only there if at the same time the car was equipped with a sun roof. But maybe now its always built in.
