98 ABS-BAS-ESP Light
Just got my car back from the dealer after putting in a new CV (CVJ axles, inc) and a new control arm (found to be bad). Anyways, now they are telling me that my ABS-ESP-BAS light is on permanently and have traced the problem back to part 0034314212 (ABS pump). Now this part is 1,225.70 (not interested) and even getting it from another parts supplier it is 800+.
For the past year or so the lights have come on and then gone almost immediately off, usually during the cold months at start up. I chalked it up t old electronics and freezing cold.
I've seen these parts at local junkyards and on ebay for 100+ bucks just for the pump. Can I do this option or is there a computer component that I am missing? Dealer said it had something to do with the solenoid.

Out Of Control!!
Nope on the W210 its fairly straight forward with no computor interface issues, however I would subscribe to the free MB EPC put your VIN to make sure you purchase the correct used pump and any other parts that may be required!!
