MB E430 4-matic 2001, MB 500SEL 1985
rack and pinion
Hi guys! Does somebody have an experience to replace the rack and pinion on MB E 430 4-Matic 2001? I did lot of other works on MB, but this one I had never done before . I need to replace the rack and pinion because it's leaking. I already have brand new part from the factory (don't ask about the price!). Everything look not very complicated. I already broke all bolts. Anyway any advices will be helpful. Dose somebody have torque specs for this job? Thank you for the answer. Long-term MB- enthusiast. Alexander.
