front right crunching sound
hi guys,
one more item.
when the steering wheel is turned all the way to the right and slowly moving fwd, hearing some not so pleasant crunch sound from where the front tire/wheel area. i think i had problem a while ago w/ toyota...remember being bushing, not sure.
i took it to a body shop and he heard the sound, but he couldn't isolate the problems. i think he checked bushing. anyone w/ input/ideas would be greatly appreciated. thx again.

Depending on the age and milage of the car, I have three suggestions what it might be.
1st) the rubber seat of the front shock sitting in the dome inside the fendor. Just loosen the seat's screws, jack up the car, not much, just to pull the springs not to lift the wheel off the ground and spray WD40 in the dome and rubber seating.
2nd) the axle bearing (forgot the specific word for it)is worn out. It is the bearing where the hub and the wheel sits on the triangle of the front axle.
3rd) one of the steering rods bearings is worn.
