00 E320 Wagon 4matic
What does these codes mean?
Im thinking of buying a 01 E320 4Matic Wagon.
It throws the code P0715...the car stays in 1st gear.
and Code P0446.
It also has an ABS light and Stability control light on.
Does this sound like a expensive fix?

Out Of Control!!
Well the P0715 is the general transmission OBD fault---it's telling you there is a problem with he transmission which you already know, but you need factory or equal software to find the real fault----could be expensive
While on factory software you will find the reason why the ABS light is on that could also be expensive.
Although I am not in the office the P0400 engine codes aint cheap to fix.
I would offer the guy 1000 bucks cash, because you will spend at least 1500 in just those repairs!!

0715 is probably the trans conductor plate that has gone bad. About $170.00 from Amazon plus trans fluid, filter, gasket and trans electrical connector. 0446 is to do with the evap system. Maybe a vent valve.
