Buzzing noise in dash when I turn the car off and take key out
Just recently my 2001 Mercedes e430 makes a buzzing noise (only for a second), almost sounds like a bee, in the dash behind instrument panel, when I turn the car off. It does it as soon as I take the key out of the ignition. Anyone know what it might be?

The problem is that we get loads of middle school kids posting about car sounds--like clicking, shrills, whistles, gongs, murmurs, hissing,wh ining, buzzing, bells, clucking, clunking, thumps and therefore you can appreciate the challenge, however in your case there is a circuit within the IC that creates sounds,my guess is that yours is going bad and you can't fix--the only fix is another IC---so enjoy the buzzing it could be worse!!

Can understand. Thanks for the feedback. If you don't mind - IC? Internal Computer? Going bad meaning the Whole thing is about to go or just that circuit? Something I should considered to be a major concern?

IC=Instrument Cluster-----noise attenuation circuit going bad---If me I would not be concerned.
PS; You may want to take some time to bone up on your cars acronyms---read your owners manual---especially when getting a repair estimate-- they may think this sap doesn't know his car wow are we going to snow him!!
