strut Bar for w210?

I haven't see any type of strut bar for any MB cars. No one offers them (barbus, AMG, etc). Is that means MB cars are very solid so we don't need them?

Wiechers Sport makes one for the 210, but it braces on to the body, not the struts. I have one and have not installed it yet. I have to modify the airbox also to make enough clearance.

Edit: Actually, I'm not modifying the stock airbox; but going to use a BMC CDA intake.

Hey Hank, I know u haven't installed but do you know of any real experiences that the CDA boxes really do what they claim they can do?

Another member here does have it installed and seems to like it quite a bit.

I've been using the BMC CDA 85-150 for quite some time now...my gains on a recent Superflow dyno are 5-6RWHP using a bad MAF...you can definitely feel the top end pull on frwy speeds!! I did revert back to the stock box w/ the new MAF...just not sure if the BMC was the culprit for (2) bad MAF.

Also, the alumn. tube included w/the kit is junk, I sourced out some part from Turbonetics; silicon hoses & couplers, pricey but good quality.

Regards
Richard

My technical consultant (aka Mark Cummins) also has the CDA installed; it showed significant gains on his setup. he helped me with the bracket, silicon hoses and coupler.
